it's tuesday morning. they light is about an hour away. we will get a much better idea sandy left behind. jummy olabanji joins us live bethesda this morning. what are you seeing? >> good morning. now on grosvenor lane in bethesda. it's not a wake-up call these folks wanted. out and other cable and now they have to listen to these groups from out who are continuing to fix the massive power outages caused quite a problem in this area. huge trees fell overnight during storm, down several utility lines. now the crews are having to work before the sun is up to get huge tree off the road tso lake effect power lines this morning. no idea on how long this will take. there are several power lines down. some of the power poles are being -- were taken down by a .wind

that is quite a difference from about a weekend at half ago. adam caskey is live in northwest d.c. >> good morning, we are along the 5200 block of nebraska avenue. it is still dark outside but i grabbed my spotlight. we have amazing video of the of this tree that came down between two houses. the worst of the storm is over with but that is little the homeowners. look at the size of that root ball. the tree is about -- the route about twice as tall as i am. the trade mostly fell between houses but it did clip of the side of one house.

hugehe most part, that between the two houses. that is a little bit of luck considering what could have happened. there is the size of that huge ball, twice as tall as i m. it has that attic smell. this situation could be worse. it is unfortunate but it could lot worse had the tree onee down right on homes but that did not happen. not is the exception and in northwest. power inthat, we have the neighboring homes. the houses that were hit got infected and do not have power. otherwise we see lights on in the neighboring homes.
